Christmas Letter
December, 19xx
The Christmas Season is here again and if you're still in the Ward's Catalog business you must be busy.  I have been knitting a lot and am making an embroidered "Circus" quilt for a little grandson.  We never have a dull or boring moment around here.

This has been one year of rain.  I never saw anything like it.  The tomato plants were nothing but huge vines and hardly any tomatoes.  However, the cucumbers and squash & radishes were excellent.  The grass is green yet.  This 1st part of December we've had a sprinkling of snow.

Good health and best wishes to you.
